Online Security
Born2Shop are proud to be associated with DPS, New Zealands largest and most preferred payment gateway provider. Born2Shop do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. The DPS hosted payments page is secured using SSL.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a method of ensuring that information submitted through your Web site is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorized users. When a site offers an SSL-secured form, the information submitted via that form (typically credit card information) is encrypted using a special certificate key and then decrypted with another key after it has been transmitted. When users access a site secured with SSL using their browser, a symbol displays in their browser windows indicating that the site is secure.

Pricing
All pricing shown is in New Zealand Dollars. GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 12.5% is included within the price. Payments from customers outside of New Zealand are required to pay by Credit Card in New Zealand Dollars. We do not accept any other currency. Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Born2Shop will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges.
Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note, your card information is not disclosed to any other party. Goods will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and funds have been cleared this may take up to four days with American Express, however typically two days with Visa and Mastercard.
Delivery / Freight Costs
There will be standard delivery rates for parcels up to 2kg for locations within New Zealand. The rates are as follows:
WITHIN NEW ZEALAND
North Island delivery rate for a parcel up to 2kg
$ 6.50
South Island delivery rate for a parcel up to 2kg
$ 10.00
For parcels above 2kg, the rate will vary. Born2Shop will inform you of these costs prior to despatch.
OUTSIDE OF NEW ZEALAND
All international packages are sent international economy courier with New Zealand Post at a minimum charge for a package of weight at 1kg. For parcels above 1kg, the rate will vary. Born2Shop will inform you of these costs prior to dispatch. Go to http://www.nzpost.co.nz/ for exact rates. As an indication of costs, please see the following:
For packages up to 1kg:
Australia: $ 24.00
East Asia and North America: $ 37.00
Canada: $ 45.00
UK and Ireland: $ 45.00
All packages (within New Zealand, and international) are delivered door to door and require a signature upon delivery. Track and Trace is standard for all packages. All packages are targeted for delivery between 2 6 working days.
Returns Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with the items you have ordered, please email us at sales@born2shop.co.nz and let us know the reasons for your dissatisfaction. If you return your order to us within ten days of receipt, unused, with the goods undamaged and in their original packaging, we will be happy to offer a full refund or exchange the goods for another item.
Please Note:
- We will not refund your return freight costs.
- We will only accept goods returned with prior notification through correspondence with our sales department at sales@born2shop.co.nz
- We will not accept any goods that have been worn, used, have their labels removed, resized, engraved, altered or damaged.
- We can only accept items returned if they are within their original packaging.
- The original invoice must accompany the returned item.
- We will not accept returns from countries outside New Zealand.
- All returned goods must be sent to Born2Shop at the following address: Born2Shop Limited, PO Box 1331, Pukekohe, South Auckland, New Zealand.
- There is no return or exchange for sale items.
- Shippng and/or delivery charges will not be refunded.
- Born2Shop will not accept returns for any non-faulty item that has been worn, and/or tags removed.
- Born2Shop does not accept returns due to normal wear and tear on used items.
- We cannot guarantee that we will be willing to accept the item for return or exchange if you do not contact us via email within ten days of receiving your goods.
- Born2Shop will not accept for return, replacement or credit any costume jewellery item where crystals have been removed or dislodged ten days past the date of sale confirmation.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags.
Exchange Policy
In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability. The customer will incur any shipping costs for returning items to be exchanged. We can only exchange an item for a different style, and colour subject to our stock availability. All exchange enquiries can be made by contacting sales@born2shop.co.nz with EXCHANGE in your subject heading. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received (within ten days) and undergone a quality control check back at head office. Please be aware that you will incur an additional freight charge for the delivery of the replacement item.
Receiving a Refund
Once your package has been returned to us within the above stated time frame, unless otherwise authorized by the directors at Born2Shop Limited, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified, your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchasers credit card including GST, excluding courier charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when the transaction has taken place. Please note that your bank institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your account once they have received the information from Born2Shop.co.nz.
Please note: if we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss next steps. Born2Shop.co.nz reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged. Only items which Born2Shop.co.nz can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange, so that they have reached our returns department within the time frame outlined above (unless otherwise arranged with and agreed to by Born2Shop.co.nz.
Born2Shop.co.nz will not accept returns or exchange goods for any non-faulty items that have been worn, and /or have their tags removed.
Gift Returns
If someone has sent you a special gift from Born2Shop.co.nz but it wasnt quite right, then you can return it in exchange for a Web credit note which you can use to redeem on our web site. In the event of a gift return, we require that you return the new and unused goods to us with all the original labelling attached within ten days of receiving the goods. A Born2Shop credit note will allow you to select a replacement item / items from our website for a period of one month. If you would like to use your credit note online, then please get in touch with our head office to organize an online purchase with your credit note. Please be aware that you will be required to pay any difference in cost and any additional shipping charges.
Gift Vouchers
The Purchaser:
- At the shopping cart, please indicate the gift voucher amount you require, and the contact name and address of the person to receive this gift voucher so freight can be added (eg $6.50 North Island and $10.00 South Island, rates vary for all overseas destinations this is calculated at the shopping cart).
- Dont forget to enter in the special instructions section, your personalized message to the recipient.
- If the purchaser is a Born2shop loyalty customer, they will be entitled to receive the 10% loyalty discount on the gift voucher, and no discount on freight.
- All gift vouchers will be sent to the redeemer with a lovely personalized Born2shop gift card. These can be viewed under the gift wrapping section.
The Redeemer:
- All Born2shop vouchers must be redeemed in full within six months of issue, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The Born2shop voucher must be redeemed by the person whom the voucher was issued to, at the shopping cart.
- All Born2shop vouchers must be redeemed in one transaction only, no refunds will be made. There will be no balances left remaining.
- If you need to spend more than the value of the voucher (which already includes freight) you can top up the payment with any of our usual payment methods.
- The person redeeming this voucher will not be entitled to receive the 10% loyalty discount, as this has already been redeemed by the purchaser of this voucher.
- All freight has been included in this voucher. No further freight charge to be applied
New Zealand Law
Any goods supplied or sold by Born2Shop Limited, are sold or supplied under contract of New Zealand Law. The Laws of sale and contract by any other country do not apply.
Privacy
The personal information supplied to Born2Shop Limited will be stored by Born2Shop on a secure server. All information is encrypted whilst in transit. Born2Shop will not share your personal information with any other third party. Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk.
